Description
English: Crew members aboard USS Mount Whitney man the telephone and distance line during an at sea replenishment with Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie in the Mediterranean May 4. Mount Whitney took more than 150,000 gallons of diesel marine fuel during this replenishment operation. Mount Whitney, home ported in Gaeta, Italy, is the flagship for Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet and is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment.
