Description
English: Cylindrical lime kilns were readily found on farms in the Robertson region, of which this is a replica. Farmers supplemented their income by burning and supplying lime to whitewash the typical Cape Dutch homesteads prevalent in the Western Cape.
This media shows a South African Protected Site with SAHRA file reference 9/2/110/0006.
