Description Louisiana National Guard Lt. Col. Bruce Rademacher, National Guard liaison for the Cocodrie, La. Branch, Coast Guard Lt. j.g. David L. Lieberman, Petty Officer 3rd Class Cardell J. Edmond and, prepare a national ensign for retirement at the Coco Marina in Cocodrie, La., Aug. 16, 2010. In addition to the continuous operations relating to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Coast Guard and National Guard members have taken it upon themselves, with the owners consent, to replace a handful of privately owned national ensigns in and around the Cocodrie area that have been weathered by the region's powerful storms.
