Description U. S. Air Force C-141 Starlifters, C-5 Galaxy's, and C-17 Globemaster III's, are staged on the ramp of Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany, on December 12, 1995. Long known as the "Gateway to Europe", Rhein-Main has become a marshaling point for the NATO Enabling Force of Operation Joint Endeavor. Enabling forces are moving into the Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia theaters of operation to prepare entry points for the main Implementation Force.
