Description
H.M.S. Asia was launched at Bombay, 1824. Flagship of Admiral Sir Edward Codrington at the Battle of Navarino, October 20th 1827. Richard Beechey was a Rear Admiral in the British Navy, and was the son of British painter Sir William Beechy.
