| Description |
English: Ride, Hartside Hill Faint vehicle tracks and hoof prints suggested that this ride went somewhere, and was a possible escape from the Sitka spruce. It leads to the former Forestry Commission plantation, now power station on the ridge line. This spruce horror is maintained by Tilhill Forestry - notorious Sitka pushers. Now this 1980s industrial craze is superseded by the wind farms. It is very likely that the turbines will soon arrive here too. |
