English: From the permanent exhibition about World War II in the ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Center in Kristiansand, Norway:
  • Uniform (kepi cap and tunic) for a member of the National Hird (Norwegian: Rikshirden), the paramilitary organization of Quisling's Norwegian Nazi party Nasjonal Samling (NS), used during the German occupation of Norway during World War II. The uniform is adorned with "sun cross" insignia, NS' party emblem, as well as an armband featuring the Rikshirden's sun cross emblem with two upward-pointing swords.

ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre:

The Brennpunkt Arkivet: Occupation, Resistance, Captivity, and Collaboration in Agder 1940-1945 is a permanent exhibition situated in the basement, which served as the headquarters of the Gestapo and witnessed harsh interrogations during World War II.
Gunvald Tomstad (1918–1970) was a Norwegian double agent during WWII, initially joining the Norwegian Nazi party (NS), monitoring German activities, and reporting to London. He later fled to Sweden and then to Great Britain when the Gestapo grew suspicious.
Two Uniforms and Morse Key; The dark blue Hird uniform jacket with the matching cap was worn by Tomstad during his double game in Norway. The photograph of Tomstad in the Norwegian uniform was likely taken in Great Britain. The cap is the same as in the picture. The telegraph key is of the same type as the one used at Tmstad's farm..

«Brennpunkt Arkivet: Okkupasjon, motstand, fangenskap og samarbeid i Agder 1940-1945» er en permanent utstilling lokalisert i kjelleren, hvor Gestapo hadde sitt hovedkvarter og utførte brutale avhør under krigen.
Gunvald Tomstad (1918-1970)
Gunvald Tomstad bodde alene på Helle gård utenfor Flekkefjord. Like etter at Norge ble okkupert, ble han med i illegalt arbeid. I 1941 ble Tomstad bedt av norske myndigheter i London om å opptre som dobbeltagent. Han meldte seg inn i NS, hvor han fikk en sentral posisjon i det lokale NS-laget. Gruppen som Tomstad var med i, overvåket skipstrafikken og fulgte med på annen tysk virksomhet som kunne føre til militære aksjoner. Fra en radiosender på loftet på gården rapporterte de til London. Samtidig hadde han en fremtredende rolle som nazist overfor Gestapo på Sørlandet. I 1943 kom Gestapo på sporet av dobbeltspillet, og Tomstad ble nødt til å flykte til Sverige. Siden kom han seg til Storbritannia, hvor han oppholdt seg resten av krigen.
Dobbelt sett uniform og morsenøkkel
Den mørkeblå hirduniformsjakken med tilhørende lue ble brukt av Tomstad under dobbeltspillet i Norge. Fotografiet av Tomstad i norsk uniform er trolig tatt i Storbritannia. Luen er den samme som på bildet. Bildet er omstridt fordi det er uklart hvorvidt han oppnådde løytnants grad. Telegrafnøkkelen er av samme type som den som ble brukt på Helle. Når det ble sendt meldinger fra Helle, sto Tomstad som regel vakt. (Utlånt av familien.)
