| Description |
English: River Adur Taken from Soldier's Point looking up the western arm of the harbour which is also the route of the river. On the right bank is Kingston Wharf where a large pile of planks from the 'Ice Prince', which sank off Devon in January losing its entire cargo, have been collected from local beaches. Beyond that is a big pile of scrap on what was once Railway Wharf and beyond that is a small fuel depot. On the southern side of the river is a new development still in the process of being completed on the site of a former timber wharf and warehouses and in the long term the riverside may well end up becoming residential with industry limited to the eastern arm. |
