| Description |
English: River Coquet at Shilmoor A rapid below the bridge at Shilmoor has two drops:- a gentle bend to the right restricts the view ahead on the approach to a rather easier first drop and the paddler doesn't get much time to line up for this second drop with two channels over boulders, quite awkward at the water level shown, which is probably about as low as the upper river can be run. Although not a very useful place to start or end a trip, it may be worth noting that there is parking and access river right at this point. |
