English: River Lossie at Calcots On the left bank are some of the buildings of Easter Calcots Farm, and Calcots Bridge spans the river just downstream. There is a weir just beyond the bridge, which is why there is a calm reach here. The red line is a hose which was being passed across the river by a group of firemen, presumably in some sort of training exercise as there was no evidence of any emergency. |
