English: Roadway into Ffos y Ffwdan forest This is the entrance to the mainly coniferous forest of Ffos y Ffwdan. The forest, which is still fairly young, stretches about 1.3km towards the west. Behind the photographer, the roadway climbs north-east up the slopes of Bwlch y Groes and eventually joins the unclssified road that heads east towards Llanidloes. |
