Text Appearing Before Image:
RIDGEVILLE STONE CRUSHING PLANT. GOOD ROADS AND GOOD STREETS. Why should we throw our money away in building poor gravel roadsthat are only good in good weather. Three yards of crushed stone willbuild a better road than five yards of gravel. We can build a better roadat the same cost with stone than we can with gravel. Our stone road willbe good at all times, winter and summer. The life of a gravel road isthree to five years. The life of a stone road is thirty to fifty years. Everyman interested in good roads should investigate. The Ridgeville limecrushed stone is not excelled for roads or macadamize streets, concretecement walks, curbs and gutters. It is quick to bond. Have you everused our screenings for driveways, alleys or repair work? Prompt ship-ment; capacity all plants 100 car loads crushed stone per day. VALUE OF GOOD ROADS
Text Appearing After Image:
THE ABOVE MACADAMIZED STREET South 14th to Main Street in Richmond, Ind., built in 1905, using RIDGE-VILLE CRUSHED STONE, put down with a twelve ton steam roller. BAD ROADS MEAN POVERTY. A poor county can be more surely kept poor by bad roads than byany other medium, for poverty is not so much a cause as effect of disrepu-table roads. By the same token the rich county may become poor by ne-glect of its highways. Ridgeville lime crushed stone is not excelled for stone roads and ma-cadamized streets quick to bond. Over 400 miles of stone roads made of RIDGEVILLE STONE since ourquarry opened in 1904. Have shipped more highway and street crushed stone than any otherplant in Indiana, Ohio or Illinois. Roads made of our stone can be seen in Allen, Adams Blackford, Del-aware, Grant, Jay, Noble, Rush, Wayne counties, Indiana, and manycounties in Ohio. Also for streets and concrete work in all cities and in-corporated towns in our territory, also used for concrete buildings. Always pleased to
