Summary
editDescriptionRoche's Point lighthouse & engine house.JPG |
English: Roche's Point Lighthouse and engine house. The lighthouse facing the sea, this shows the fog signal on the balcony. The Fresnel lens and and red strips can be seen inside the lantern windows. The red stips make the light appear red in certain approaches to the harbour to indicate navigational hazards. The engine house on the left used to house the older diaphone and siren fog signal machinery. |
