An image of the US Coast Guard eagle icon is etched into a rock surface.

Devils Island Light Station landscape. There are several rock etchings that contribute to the landscape. The earliest, which consists of two names, dates to 1933 and is located on the ledges below the Tramway Engine House. This etching of the United States Coast Guard eagle is located by the fog signal.
