Description
English: Looking west towards Crown Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, and East Harlem, on the Utica Avenue-bound platforms of the Rockaway Avenue Elevated Station on the IRT New Lots Line in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York City. The end of this platform is over the intersection of Livonia Avenue and Chester Street, while the eastbound platform begins over the southeast corner of that intersection. Off in the distance is a temporary sign telling trains that they should bypass Saratoga Avenue Elevated Station due to a major restoration project at the station between April and October 2016.
