| Description |
English: A decorative antique Atlantic Coast Line Railroad luggage cart on the north side of the historic Helen P. Gay Rocky Mount (Amtrak station) in Rocky Mount, North Carolina as seen from across Hammond Street. Originally a Wilmington and Weldon Railroad then acquired by the ACL Railroad, and restored for Amtrak. This gives a full view of all four floors. Note also the NCDOT plaque close to the driveway in front of the station. Another decorative ACL luggage cart can be found along that driveway close to the southwest corner of the station house. |
