Summary edit

Description
English: Rocky outcrop beneath the summit of Carnedd Lwyd. Nature has stacked this pile of rocks very neatly - just below the man-made cairns at the summit (464758). Carnedd Lwyd (616m) is part of the ridge stretching out westward from Cadair Idris. The northern slope of the ridge is a steep escarpment, with only few places to walk (rather than climb) down the cliff. The ridge runs E-W through the square. Towards the south, the land slopes down more gently. In line with the steepness of the ground, the southern half is dominated by rough grassland, while the north is more rocky.
