ghCBNS of Train Orders Canadian Group wrote of these photos: "This is probably the overnight train to Montreal. It would have started out from Cochrane ON earlier that afternoon. At Senneterre additional cars world be added including a sleeper and meal/lounge car. When the train reached Hervey Jct. there was an RDC connection to Ste-Foy (Quebec City) "Back then you could make a circle trip: Toronto-Cochrane-Senneterre-Montreal-Toronto. "Senneterre still has a tri-weekly daytime train to Montreal which combines with the Jonquiere train at Hervey Jct." I had considerable trouble with the color. The lighting had a strong green tint totally eliminating the red nose on the FP9. |
