Description The Forum Romanum in Rome. To the immediate left is the church of San Giuseppe dei Falegnami which sits atop the Carcere Mamertino. The Arch of Septimius Severus is in the center, the individual column behind and to the right is the Column of Phokas. Further behind, the triple-column ruins are the Temple of Castor and Pollux. The area in front of and to the right of that is the remnant of the Basilica Julia. Behind and to the left of the Arch of Septimius Severus is the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina and the tower above that is the Santa Francesca Romana.
