Roman fragment of hypocaust tile
Description
English: A Roman fragment of hypocaust tile (43-410 AD). The fragment is from the centre of a hypocaust tile and no outside edges remain. The front surface has a combed pattern of concentric lozenges over an equal armed cross. The front surface is also blackened, the rest of the fabric appears to be oxidised.

Dimensions: thickness: 17.27mm; weight: 57.34g.
