  • Deutsch: Bergung der Leiche Memnons, rotfigurige Kylix (Trinkschale des Pamphaios; von Klein dem Euphronios zugeschrieben, Hartwig, Meisterschalen 142 ff.) Birch erklärt die Gewaffneten für Windgötter und sieht in dem Bilde die Version des Quint. 8m. 2, 550ff (zustimmend Luckenbach 620). Die Frau rechts auf der Pamphaiosschale wird von Brunn, Tr. Mise. 186 Eos, von Lessing, De mortis apud veteres figura p. 39 und Bobert, Than. 14 f. Mutter oder Gattin des Sarpedon genannt.
