| Description | ...Mais à Reims même, il existait une église dont nous parlons fréquemment, Saint-Nicaise, bâtie par l'architecte Libergier, et dont l'ordonnance, la structure et les détails étaient d'une valeur tout à fait exceptionnelle. De cette église, démolie au commencement de ce siècle, il ne nous reste que la dalle tumulaire de son architecte, aujourd'hui déposée dans la cathédrale; quelques fragments de pavages et d'ornements, des plans, un petit nombre de dessins et une admirable gravure. Au-dessus d'un porche très-remarquablement dessiné, au centre de la façade occidentale, s'ouvrait une rose d'une composition toute champenoise, en ce qu'elle formait plutôt un immense fenestrage qu'une rose proprement dite, inscrit sous le formeret de la voûte de la nef.
