Description
English: Replica of a cog (ship) found 1991 in Öresund outside Skanör harbor. The cog was named Tvedräkt av Elbogen and renamed to Roter Teufel after a cog owned by Klaus Störtebeker, who was a wellknown pirate in the Baltic during the end of 14th century. The cog is stationed near Västerås, Sweden.
Svenska: Roter Teufel (Röde djävulen) är en rekonstruktion av en medeltidskogg efter ett fynd utanför Skanör 1991. Namnet kommer från piraten Klaus Störtebekers kogg. Störtebeker var aktiv i Östersjön i slutet av 1300-talet. Roter Teufel finns i Frösåkers brygga, nära Västerås.
