Description Lot 11635-5: Allied Air Raids on Europe, WWII.Royal Air Force Daylight Attack on Comines. Comines was attacked by bombers of the Royal Air Force during a daytime sweep on Northern France. The principal objective being the power station. Direct hits have been scored on the boiler house, pump house, and the circulating water pipes. Several near misses have caused damage.
