Summary edit

Description
English: The Royal coat of arms of England (1690), St. Michael’s Church in East Coker, Somerset, South West England, United Kingdom.
The coat of arms are dated 1690 and belong to the joint reign of King William III of England (and II of Scotland) and Mary II. They are technically the arms of Mary as William's arms usually had an inescutcheon of Nassau overall, here omitted. However, it is clear from the biblical inscription above "Feare thou the Lord and the King ..." (Proverbs 24) that the Queen's arms alone are not intended. Shown at top is the monogram WM followed by R (rex/regina)
