“Mr Lane Sir I now must inform you that I Cannot make any araingements with my Creditors but they must have the kash and you must git the rest of the money as Quick as posabel you was [saying] that you rote to your friend Concerning sum help if you will git the money that is Now due and will kash the rest of the notes by the first of May I will make you fifty dolers discount Cary has note to me that hee will Due it but if you Can Due it I had reither that you wood Due it the botes is a going to start by the 15th of this month and I want to git the money to gow to the west and by land pleas to rite to mee Soon for I was a going to Cum out a Monday but I thot I wod rite to you first Cary wants to git the Notes and mordge very much this from your friend [midina?] April the 10 1829 there is one thing more me wishes fair that hee wood give mee 100 dolers in kash and git the rest in one month or forfit the all hee has paid I have ConCluded to gow to the west [illegible] [wiles?] told mee that I mite kome home and see a bout my affairs and rite to him and he wood due as [illegible] hee said that hee wood Due beter by mee then any other wood due but I wood reither that you wood have them as I told you I have [not?] rote to any body about it
