Deutsch: Rudge Ulster Sport, 500 cm³, 45 PS, Baujahr 1938; Südkehre Nürburgring, Fahrer: Gerhard Schöneberg, Geschwindigkeit des Motorrades zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme ca. 75–76 km/h. In den Programmheften des AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix von 1976 und 1977 werden für ein und dasselbe Motorrad sowohl 35 PS als auch 45 PS genannt. Auch die Website bikes.com nennt 45 PS, die jedoch mit der angegebenen Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 100 mph nicht harmonieren. Denn diese Höchstgeschwindigkeit (160 km/h) erreichte eine BMW R 68 von 1952 bereits mit 35 PS. |
