Summary
editDescriptionRudolf Behrend.1930er.Atelier-Hattesen.jpg |
English: Rudolf Behrend (born March 25, 1895 in Neuheikendorf, Kiel Fjord, † February 10, 1979) was a German painter and graphic artist. From 1920 Rudolf Behrend attended the School of Applied Arts (later: Muthesius School) in Kiel and received lessons from Professors Vogel and Zimmermann, in the Aktsaal with Werner Lange. He owed further impulses to the encounter with Heinrich Blunck, the academically trained landscape painter who had settled in Heikendorf in 1923. Henceforth Behrend found his way completely self-taught, in exchange with friends of painters and above all in dealing with the subjects and pictures of the great painters since Impressionism. A close friendship connected him with the later Worpswede art historian Hans-Hermann Rief.
Deutsch: Rudolf Behrend (* 25. März 1895 in Neuheikendorf, Kieler Förde; † 10. |
