Description
Français : À quelques kilomètres, une ruine d'un second château fort persiste à dépasser les cimes des arbres. Le petit Geroldseck fut un château fort existant déjà au début du XIIIe siècle. De par son nom, on comprend rapidement le lien avec le précédent. Ayant appartenu à la même puissante famille. Ce château Il fut rapidement abandonné moins de deux-trois siècles plus tard. Ils servaient dans cet intervalle, avec son grand-frère, de base de brigandage qui contraint même le duc de Lorraine à s'emparer de la zone pour que cela cesse. Source : Châteaux forts Alsace (FR)
