Description
Русский: Ингушетия — самая молодая республика в составе Российской Федерации, образованная 4 июня 1992 года, расположена на северных склонах предгорья Большого Кавказского хребта, в центральной его части. В республике насчитывается 4 района, 5 городов республиканского подчинения. Столица — город Магас.

Историческое событие — единение Ингушетии с Россией произошло 17−19 марта 1770 года вблизи селения Ангушт (Тарское) Пригородного района на равнинной местности под названием «Барта босе» («Склон согласия»). 12 июля 1770 года договор, который подписали ингушские старейшины, о добровольном вхождении Ингушетии в состав России одобрила Коллегия иностранных дел России. Ингушетия вошла в состав Российской империи.

На почтовой марке изображён герб Республики Ингушетия, в оформлении использован национальный орнамент.
