English: Russian soldiers on BMP-2 with faces covered to prevent identification. By all evidence this is the only known image of a Russian soldier engaged in ethnic cleansing in South Ossetia during the war. Photo taken August 23, 2008, near Tskhinvali by Ernest Sipes.
