Description
Русский: Парадная карета-купе XVIII столетия из собрания экипажей князей Юсуповых (двухместный экипаж с одним сидением). Научная реставрация. «Каретная галерея» Николая Борисовича Юсупова. Выполнена в 1770-х годах, вероятно, в мастерских придворного петербургского Конюшенного двора по проекту Иогана Конрада Букендаля (Johann Conrad Bukendal, ок. 1726-1796) для императрицы Екатерины II. Это карета наиболее ранний известный образец И. К. Букендаля. Материалы: прочный дуб для ходовой части, лёгкий бук и доступная хвойная порода древесины дня построения кузова. Необычно: внешне вызолоченные филёнки выполненны из прессованых листов картона. Особенности конструкции: опускающиеся с помощью ремней боковые стёкла со специальными фанерными шторками и др.
