Description

EMH811B was one of the first vehicles in the fleet of Smith and May of Benfleet.along with a couple of other Bedford VALs and 279HLC a Duple Continental bodied Reliance. This ex-Banfield coach was parked c.1973 in Bloomsbury Square when an extension was being built for SOAS.

Subsequently the firm was known as the Castle Point Bus Company, including a large number of second-hand double deckers.
