Description
English: Sami drum from Grans Lappby, Sorsele, Sweden. Bowl drum, 32 × 25 cm. No 45 in Ernst Manker's Die lappische Zaubertrommel (1938). Once owned by naturalist Carl von Linné, and shown on the 1737 painting of him. Owner: Historiska Museet, Stockholm; since 1933 deposited at Svenska Linné-sällskapets Museum, Uppsala.

Author Ernst Manker. Scanning, cleaning up minor imperfections in the reproduction and removing the numbers was made by Tor Gjerde at old.no; Christopher Forster made the PNG images white background transparent using ImageMagick on GNU/Linux.
