Deutsch: Im September 2009 besuchte eine deutsch-koreanische Expertendelegation der BBSR unter Leitung von Dr. Peter Schön die Hansestadt Rostock. Stadtplanungs- und Stadtentwicklungsexperten des südkoreanischen Institutes für humanen Siedlungs/Städtebau besichtigen eine DDR-Musterstadt, welche sich auch im vereinigten Deutschland bestens behauptet, durch Wachstum, Prosperität und hohe Lebensqualität auszeichnet. Die südkoreanischen Kollegen bitten um Insiderwissen aus ostdeutscher Perspektive, wie Städte für ein vereinigtes Korea vorzubereiten wären.
Architekt Michael Bräuer (dritter v.r.), war jahrelang Stadtarchitekt in Rostock und in dieser Funktion mehrfach in Nordkorea zu Gast. Bräuer: "Vom Januar 1990 bis November 1990 wurde er dann zum letzten Staatssekretär im Ministerium für Bauwesen, Städtebau und Wohnungswesen der DDR zur Zeit der Minister Gerhard Baumgärtel (CDU) (Januar–März) und Axel Viehweger (LDPD/FDP) (bis Oktober) in der Regierung Modrow bzw.
