Summary edit

Description
English: Time-lapse analysis of foci dynamics—consecutive pulse labels with an intervening 1 h unlabeled period. The time-lapse series from the experiment in Figure 2C was prepared as described in the legend to Video S1. Even with 1 h and 2 h (not shown) unlabeled periods between the two pulses, foci containing the 1st and 2nd precursors maintain complete spatial co-association over an imaging time course of 3 h. As CT shape changes significantly over the imaging time course, the persistent co-association of neighboring foci is clearly consistent with them being genetically linked along chromosomes.
