Description
English: Astronauts John W. Young, left, and Robert L. Crippen, crewmen for the first space transportation system (STS-1) mission, go over a check off list during simulations in the Johnson Space Center's shuttle mission simulator in the mission simulation and training facility. Young will be crew commander and Crippen, pilot, for the mission-shuttle's initial orbital flight test (OFT).
