Ada sebuah Savana yang dinamakan Savana Bekol yang termasuk dalam wilayah Taman Naional Baluran. Salah satu Taman Nasional yang disebut Afrika Kecil di Jawa. Savana Bekol, savana yang sering disebut-sebut sebagai little Africa in Java atau dalam bahasa
Indonesianya Afrika Kecil di Jawa. Bagaimana tidak disebut demikian, hamparan rumput alami, pohon-pohon yang terpisah jauh, pemandangan Gunung Baluran dari kejauhan serta hewan-hewan liar seperti Kerbau, Banteng, Rusa, Kera, Lutung, Merak, Ular dan beberapa jenis burung terlihat di Savana ini membuat kita yang melihatnya seperti berada di Afrika. |
