Description
English: A U.S. Navy Sikorsky SH-3A Sea King of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 8 (HS-8) "Eightballers" hovers over the stern of the destroyer USS Floyd B. Parks (DD-884) off Vietnam, circa in 1967. HS-8 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 59 (CVSG-59) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bennington (CVS-20) for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 4 November 1966 to 23 May 1967. Note that the helicopter is camouflaged for combat search and rescue flights in Vietnam.
