English: Astronaut Daniel W. Busch in the Orbiter Docking System. The hatch in view is the hatch of the androgynous peripheral docking system (APDS) that connect the Orbiter Docking System with the Pressurized Mating Adapter of the International Space Station.
  • Original (incorrect) description:Astronaut Daniel W. Bursch, Expedition Four flight engineer, awaits the opening of a hatch that will reunite the new ISS crew and the four STS-108 astronauts with the Expedition Three team. Bursch and his two Expedition Four crew mates (out of frame) were in one of the Pressurized Mating Adapters (PMA) on the orbital outpost. The image was recorded with a digital still camera.
