Description
English: At Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish and Wildlife staff clear, create and measure ditches to improve salt marsh drainage and reduce infestation of invasive marsh plants called phragmites.



This federally funded Hurricane Sandy resilience project improves marsh habitat on than 400 acres in key coastal areas of Rhode Island.
