| Description |
Arriving in Weymouth after 10.5 hours and 475 miles from Drem, Scotland. A very memorable journey. The Jag proved itself as a great tow vehicle, returning 32 mpg overall with the Lancia and 38mpg with the empty trailer. That's friend & neighbour David in the photo. He accompanied me on the trip and was great company as well as helping with strapping the car to the trailer and navigating. It would have been much harder on my own. His wife Netty not only looked after Pebbles, but provided food and drink for the journey. The only thing we bought was 2 draught beers on our arrival at the Scottish Hotel. |
