English: Karabük’ün en meşhur tarihi yerlerinin başında elbette korunarak günümüze kadar ulaşmayı başarmış olan Safranbolu Evleri geliyor. Evler sahip olduğu tarihi ve kültürel değer nedeniyle 17 Aralık 1994 tarihinde UNESCO Dünya Mirası Listesi’ne de dahil edilmiştir. Yapımı esnasında yumurta akı kullanılmış olması nedeniyle depreme çok dayanıklı olduğu belirtilmektedir. Evlerin inşası sırasında büyük saygı örneği gösterilmiş ve komşuların birbirinin gün ışığını kapatmaması noktasında çok titiz davranılmıştır. |
