Deutsch: Saint-Jean-Trolimon (Bretagne, Finistère) Calvaire bei der Kapelle Notre-Dame-de-Tronoën, Nordseite, Detail: (unten) Am Ende des Wochenbettes Mariens bieten die hl. Drei Könige ihre Weihegeschenke an. Der 1. kniet. Der 2., in einem Wams wie zur Zeit Karl VII üblich (dies erlaubt die Datierung der Skulpturen um etwa 1450) zeigt auf den Stern, der sie führte. Der 3., etwas kleiner, schließt sich der Gruppe an.
Français : Saint-Jean-Trolimon (Bretagne, Finistère) Calvaire de la Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Tronoën, face nord: (en bas) Nativité, détail: La présence des Rois mages dans l`iconographie religieuse est courante en Bretagne. Dans le groupe des mages, celui de gauche non couronné offre son présent alors que celui de droite qui est couronné s´interroge: "est-ce bien là notre roi?". Le mage du milieu répond par l´affirmative en pointant son doigt vers le ciel. Elle fait cependant l'objet d'une étude vestimentaire intéressante qui permet de dater les sculptures vers 1450. Les Mages sont vêtus comme de grands seigneurs. Ceux du calvaire de Tronoën portent le pourpoint de l'époque de Charles VII.
