English: Salterne beach The fishing boats predominate on the beach, looking towards The Floors. It has never become a major seaside resort, partly because of the restrictions placed on development by Lord Clinton and mainly because the famous Budleigh pebble beds, a significant geological stratum, actually mean that the beach is not sandy. |
