Español: La imagen de San Saturio, patrón de Soria, es una buena talla de 0,93metros del siglo XVII. Su cabeza es la clásica en toda la imagenería del santo, con su flequillo y sus luengas barbas. Su veste de anacoreta y su capa, bellamente policromadas. La actitud de sus manos con el libro abierto indica la tarea evangelizadora y apologética a la que se dedicó el santo, entre las gentes de los pueblos comarcanos. También clásico en sus imágenes es el relicario incrustado en el pecho, en cuyo alrededor puede leerse:«San Saturio, ora pro nobis». |
