Sansula

English: "Sansula" is a variant of the kalimba (mbira) developed and patented by a musician and instrument builder of Germany in 2001. It consists of a wood ring covered with a membrane (drumhead), similar to a frame drum, and classical Kalimba mounted on which.
Deutsch: Es existiert seit 2001 eine Variante der Kalimba (Mbira) namens "Sansula" , die von einem Musiker und Instrumentenbauer in Deutschland entwickelt und patentiert wurde. Sie besteht aus einem mit Trommelfell bespannten Holzring, ähnlich einer Rahmentrommel, auf den der klassische Klangblock der Kalimba montiert ist. Ergebnis dieser Konstruktion soll ein gegenüber den bisher bekannten Mbiras verbesserter raumfüllender Klang sein.
