Português: O anjo nesta escultura de bronze feita em 2003 é semelhante em pose e roupas a outro anjo localizado no mesmo cemitério, no túmulo da família Netto (c.1914); este último, por sua vez, é uma cópia quase exata do monumento de 1899 esculpido por Angiolo de Ranieri para o túmulo da Famiglia Lombardi e Sbrana em Lucca, Itália; outro anjo da mesma forma é encontrado no túmulo de Antonio Piatti no Cimitero delle Porte Sante em Firenze, esculpido por Emanuel Caroni em 1866-1867.
English: The angel in this bronze sculpture made in 2003 is similar in pose and clothing to another angel not far away in this same cemetery, on the Netto Family tomb (c.1914); the Netto Family tomb, in turn, is a near-exact copy of the 1899 monument sculpted by Angiolo de Ranieri for the Famiglia Lombardi e Sbrana tomb in Lucca, Italy; another similarly posed angel is found on the tomb of Antonio Piatti in the Cimitero delle Porte Sante in Florence, Italy, sculpted by Emanuel Caroni in 1866-1867. |
