Nördlich des Erdwerks ähnlich einer Hügelburg (Motte, Hausberg) auf dem bewaldeten Geländerücken 320 m nordwestlich vom Kanonenrondell am Grundstück Nr. 497/1, findet man im Waldgebiet einen vorgelagerten auffällig tiefen Graben entlang der Rückenlinie des Geländes von West nach Ost.
