Description
Red and white transfer plate features "Olympic Games", "Victors Crowned" pattern. The scalloped edge of the plate is outlined with a row of small triangles and a narrow white line. The stippled rim has 2 floral reserves framed in scrolls and scenic reserves also framed in scrolls. The scenic reserve has a Greek temple and an arched bridge. There is a poor match of the transfer at 1 scenic reserve. The central scene has a flower in the foreground, 1 figure holds a spear while another figure places a laurel wreath above the head of the man holding the spear, with a small figures on the river bank which divide the scene are in the background. A Greek Column is at left with a graceful tree at right, buildings and mountains are in the distance. Red backstamp depicts a lion with "Olympic Games" and "Victors Crowned" followed by "T.
